It is with immense pride, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility that I address our members, well-wishers, and the wider diaspora as the President of Gulmi Jilla Samaj UK.
Since our establishment in 2007, our Samaj has grown into a vibrant, united, and resilient platform for the Gulmeli community in the United Kingdom. For nearly two decades, this organisation has stood as a vital bridge to our roots — preserving our rich identity, culture, and values, while fostering deep solidarity and mutual support within our UK community.
I am deeply honoured to serve as the first woman President in the history of Gulmi Jilla Samaj UK. I accept this responsibility with unwavering commitment, sincerity, and integrity. This milestone is not just a personal honour; it is a powerful reflection of our organisation’s progressive, inclusive, and forward-thinking spirit.
Our remarkable journey has been shaped by the vision and dedication of our founding members, Past Presidents, Trustees, executive committees, advisors, volunteers, and well-wishers. I offer my deepest respect and gratitude for their invaluable leadership.
Our strength lies in our unity. Our gatherings, festivals, and cultural events are opportunities to reinforce our bond and ensure every Gulmeli feels a sense of home and family here in the UK. If you know of any Gulmeli in your area who are not yet part of our Samaj, please reach out and invite them to join us.
We are working towards the digitalisation of our processes to ensure better communication, efficient management, and greater transparency. Our digital platform will provide members with easy access to information, updates on activities, and a seamless way to participate in our initiatives.
Our roots run deep in the hills of Gulmi. We are dedicated to strengthening these ties by supporting sustainable development projects, educational initiatives, and healthcare projects in Gulmi District while promoting cultural exchange.
I am immensely grateful for the continuous trust, encouragement, and faith you have placed in my leadership. Together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
