For nearly two decades, this organization has stood as a vital bridge to our roots—preserving our rich identity, culture, and values, while fostering deep solidarity and mutual support within our UK community. ​Guided by the timeless principle, “जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी” (Mother and motherland are greater than heaven), we remain fiercely dedicated to the progress of our homeland, Gulmi, while actively contributing to the society we live in today. ​A Historic Milestone ​I am deeply honored to serve as the first woman President in the history of Gulmi Jilla Samaj UK. I accept this responsibility with unwavering commitment, sincerity, and integrity. As President, my vision is to build upon this legacy by focusing on key strategic pillars to make our organization more dynamic, transparent, and inclusive: ​1. Strengthening Unity & Expanding Membership ​Our strength lies in our unity. Our gatherings, festivals, and cultural events are opportunities to reinforce our bond and ensure every Gulmeli feels a sense of home and family here in the UK. Moving forward, we aim to actively expand our membership and welcome more Gulmeli into our fold. A larger and more inclusive community means more ideas, more support, and more opportunities for everyone. If you know of any Gulmeli in your area who are not yet part of our Samaj, please reach out to them and invite them to join us. Together, we can achieve great things. ​2.
