GJSUK General Election on Sunday, 3 May 2026

Members are invited to attend the GJSUK general election in Aldershot. The official election procedure confirms member eligibility, venue details, ballot arrangements, and supporting references.

Eligibility

  • +Current GJSUK members may stand for a post and vote.
  • +New members registered before voting starts on 3 May 2026 are also eligible to vote.
  • +The notice refers members to the GJSUK Constitution and the meeting minutes dated 22 February 2026.

Voting Process

  • 1.Vacant posts will be filled by eligible and interested GJSUK members.
  • 2.If two or more candidates stand for one post, a ballot will be arranged.
  • 3.Eligible members will cast one vote to elect one candidate.
No postal vote will be available for this election. The official notice also states that candidate applications were accepted until 5:00 PM on 15 April 2026.
