About Us

Gulmi Jilla Samaj UK (GJSUK) is a community organisation established in 2007 to unite people from Gulmi District, Nepal, who now live in the United Kingdom.

Who we are

We are a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation. Our members come from every corner of Gulmi and every walk of life — families, students, and professionals — bound together by a shared homeland and shared values.

What we do

• Community & culture — annual get-togethers, Dashain and Tihar celebrations, and cultural programmes that keep our traditions alive for the next generation.
• Member support — standing beside our members through joyful and difficult times, from weddings and welcomes to bereavement support.
• Charity for Gulmi — fundraising for education, healthcare, and disaster relief projects back home in Gulmi District.
